🏭 Eyelash Tweezers Manufacturing Process

1. Raw Material Selection

  • Material Used: High-quality stainless steel (commonly AISI 410, 420, or 304) is chosen for corrosion resistance and durability.

  • Quality Check: Each sheet or rod is inspected for hardness, uniformity, and surface defects before processing.

2. Forging / Blanking

  • Process: Steel strips are cut or stamped into tweezer blanks using precision dies or CNC punching machines.

  • Hot Forging (optional): For thicker designs, blanks are heated and forged to desired shape.

  • Result: Rough tweezer blanks ready for shaping.

3. Milling and Shaping

  • Objective: Achieve the exact tweezer profile and jaw design.

  • Steps:

    • Edges and body are shaped using milling machines, grinders, or belt sanders.

    • The tip geometry (straight, curved, or slanted) is carefully formed.

  • Precision: Shape tolerance typically within ±0.05 mm.

4. Hardening & Tempering

  • Purpose: To give the tweezers the required strength and elasticity.

  • Process:

    • Tweezers are heated in a controlled furnace (around 1000°C).

    • Rapidly cooled in oil or air (hardening).

    • Reheated at lower temperature (tempering) to reduce brittleness.

5. Grinding and Straightening

  • Steps:

    • Outer surfaces are surface-ground for smoothness and even thickness.

    • Straightening is done manually or using jigs to ensure perfect alignment of both arms.

  • Result: Flat, even, and perfectly aligned tweezers.

6. Tip Alignment and Finishing

  • Tip Work:

    • Fine grinding and lapping ensure perfect tip closure and precision grip.

    • Tips are aligned under magnification to ensure no gap.

  • Hand-Finishing: Skilled workers refine the tips with stones or fine sandpaper for precision.

7. Polishing

  • Objective: Smooth surface and aesthetic finish.

  • Types:

    • Matt finish: Achieved by bead blasting or satin polishing.

    • Mirror finish: Achieved by buffing wheels with polishing compound.

  • Quality Control: Surface must be free of scratches and burrs.

8. Surface Treatment / Coating

Depending on model requirements:

  • Electropolishing: Enhances corrosion resistance and gives a bright finish.

  • Titanium coating / PVD coating: Adds color (e.g., gold, black, rainbow) and improves wear resistance.

  • Powder coating or anodizing (for aluminum models) can also be done.

9. Laser Marking / Branding

  • Laser engraving is used to permanently mark the brand name, model number, or logo without damaging the surface.

10. Cleaning and Ultrasonic Washing

  • Tweezers are cleaned ultrasonically in multiple baths (alkaline, water, and alcohol) to remove all polishing residues and oils.

  • Then dried with hot air.

11. Quality Inspection

  • Visual & Functional Tests:

    • Tip alignment and closure precision.

    • Surface smoothness and finish quality.

    • Elasticity (opening and closing force test).

    • Corrosion test (salt spray test, if required).

  • Only perfectly matched pairs pass inspection.

12. Packaging

  • Primary Packaging: Each tweezer is packed in a PVC pouch, blister pack, or paper sleeve.

  • Secondary Packaging: Packed in sets or boxes for shipping.

  • Labeling: Includes model number, brand, and “Made in Pakistan”.

13. Final Shipment

  • Products are boxed, barcoded, and shipped according to buyer’s specifications with export documents and quality certificates (ISO / CE, if applicable).

⚙️ Optional Quality Certifications
